You can add standard ESXi hosts (compute nodes) to an HPE SimpliVity cluster when you need more compute and memory resources. The Simplivity shared storage allows HA for all other vm's but since the vCenter server needs to be running to access storage it can only live on local storage if running on esxi1 or esxi2. Right now I've come up with four options. If I'm reading this correct the vCenter server if its down you loose access to all storage?!?
